Job Description Registered Nurse - PACU Schedule 12 Hour Days, 9 AM to 9 PM, call required.
Assignment Details Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 13
Requirements - 2 years of PACU experience required
- PACU (ICU/ER) experience required
- BLS & ACLS certification required
- Experience with EMR: EPIC
- 5 years of experience if degree accreditation verification is unavailable
- Prior travel experience highly preferred
- Common diagnoses include orthopedic and general surgery
Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care in a PACU setting
- Monitor patient recovery and stabilize vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team on patient progress
- Document patient information accurately in the EMR system
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
