Job Description: - At Client Reality Labs (FRL), our goal is to explore, innovate and design client interfaces and hardware subsystems for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences.
- We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team.
- We are specifically looking for a candidate with experience in data annotation and data ingestion, who can work with a team of infrastructure engineers and data strategy TPMs.
- The ideal candidate will be someone who likes to learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of AR/VR problem solving.
- They will also be someone who likes to collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making the architectural tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver software solutions.
Responsibilities: - Looking for someone with prior experience working with data pipelines, data annotation pipelines, and automation for machine learning.
- Will work with a team supporting data ingested from a variety of devices through different paths into central infrastructure.
- The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in new languages, configuration systems and picking up new systems.
Experience: - 5 minimum years of experience
Skillsets: - Python
- SQL
- Automation of multi-stage data pipelines
- PHP, React, Experience with annotation systems (Nice to have)
- HTML5/CSS (Nice to have)
- Data validation (Nice to have)
- Familiarity with data ingestion (Nice to have)
- JavaScript (Nice to have)
Education: - Bachelor's in related / Computer Science required
Additional Qualifications: - The role will interact with the following client tools: (a monolithic codebase that serves all traffic from Client and Messenger), HACK (server side programming language), Fbcode
